Kris and I started Auto Haven Storage in 1986 thinking that the barns on our hobby farm could be a 6 month haven of storage for vehicles and have run a profitable storage business ever since. This was Kris' income so she could stay home with the kids. We expanded our storage business in 97, bought a big house with a big heat bill, and then bought a corn stove.

We loved saving on our heat bill so much we told people who then went out and bought their own corn stoves. I said to Kris we might as well get paid for what we are already doing and applied for a dealership. Haven Companies was born and 18 times in our first year we were featured on television as the couple with new products to save money! We have heated our home with corn for ten years and have been corn stove dealers for nine years.
